“Everlasting Punishment. All are welcome.”
What? Let me explain.…
When I was growing up, the local Church of Christ, Scientist, my family attended had a sign out front listing the times of its Sunday and Wednesday services. It also included the subject of each week’s Bible Lesson-Sermon, and “All are welcome” was printed on the bottom. A friendly sign. But the membership always cringed when, twice a year, the sign displayed “Everlasting Punishment. All are welcome.”
