ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

From the August 1884 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Mary Baker Eddy has been verified as the author of this unsigned article by The Mary Baker Eddy Library.

This article was later republished in Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896: Mis 53:11-54:2

D. S. says: "Do you sometimes find it advisable to use medicine to assist in producing a cure, when it is difficult to start the patient's recovery?"

You only weaken your power to heal through mind by any compromise with matter, which is virtually acknowledging the former is not equal to the latter under difficulties. He that resorts to physics, seeks what is below, instead of above, the standard of metaphysics, showing his ignorance of the meaning of the term, and of occult science.

B. G. Y. inquires: "Is it possible to change the aged form to one of youth, beauty and immortality, without the change called death?"
