Suppressing every human motive—a profound self-annihilation before the Being of beings; retaining no will but His, surrendering ourselves to Him with a resignation without limit, a confidence without bounds; having but one only unique inextinguishable desire, that of surmounting every obstacle between ourselves and the light,—this is the way we have to travel to reach our grand aim.
