It is a matter of regret that so few students knew of the intended discussion of Christian Science by the Baptist ministers at their conference of the 27th ult. Rev. O. P. Gifford read a very ably written paper on the principles and work of Christian Science: but showed that misapprehension of the subject always apparent in those who have not studied it under its true interpreter. Prof. Sherwin, of the N. E. Conservatory, gave a strong and telling testimony in favor of its beneficent demonstrations, and Mr. H. P. Bailey and Miss Fannie Clark spoke briefly from the standpoint of practical workers in the Science.
