All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.—John i. 3.
According to this statement, there is nothing real, true, or immortal, but was made by God. For the reason that God is Love and Goodness, it is simply an impossibility that He could have made anything evil; for "God is too pure to behold iniquity." Looking at sin or evil in this light, we can come to but one conclusion, —that sin, sickness, and all the fears and sorrows that afflict humanity, have no reality, Truth, or Substance; that nothing is immortal, or has Substance, but that which is good.
