An alleged faith-cure, in South Orange, N. J., has astonished that village. Mrs. Alfred E. Watkins, the wife of a well-known resident of the place, has been a cripple for many years, unable to move without the aid of crutches. Recently, she appeared on the streets, and walked briskly through the village. She was closely questioned about her remarkable recovery, and she said that faith and prayer had accomplished it. At a seance, she said, the Rev. Mr. Heller had placed his hands on her, and commanded her, in a loud voice, to walk. She walked. Since then she has been quite well.
