Our little compositor is in her ninth year, and no doubt is the youngest known in the trade. She sets the type, justifies her own lines, but is not yet able to empty her "sticks." Incredible as it may seem, the little type-setter often sets from one to four stickfuls from our manuscript, sometimes correcting a slip in our grammar or spelling, and is never so happy as when sitting at the case, "helping papa."
