Peace now be to thee!
Far mightier walls than those of builders' clay
Encompass thee,
Though unperceived by blinded eyes,
And keep thee safe.
No mournful yesterdays sigh 'round thy dwelling;
No grief-begetting dawns stand weeping at thy gate.
Thy light has come;
And thou art born anew
Unto the mansion of thy heavenly parent king
Whose law of years
Is one vast day of glory.
Love garners love,
The stars in greatness sing—they know no more the dark.
Rejoice in thy domain.
