I have often had a desire to make public what Christian Science has done for me. It would, however, be impossible for me to tell in a few words of all the blessings that I have received. I never had a well day from the time I was two years old until I was healed by Christian Science. At the birth of my first child I was so severely injured that neither the skill of the best physicians nor an operation succeeded in relieving the pain and misery which followed the injuries. My doctors agreed that I could never be cured, but thanks to God, and the truth as taught by Mrs. Eddy in her book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I have been entirely healed. It is over a year since I was freed from the distressing trouble, and I have never felt the slightest discomfort since. During these long years of sickness and trouble I became very deaf, but my hearing is now much better, and though not entirely restored I am very sure I shall be permanently cured of that also, as I have been of all the other diseases. I have had many beautiful demonstrations in my home of the power of divine Love to help us all, if we will only let God heal us.
I not only owe my life to God, and to the teachings of our dearly loved Leader, but also the happiness and contentment which have come to me through Christian Science. It is my earnest desire to devote all my time and energies to expressing my gratitude for my healing by walking in the footsteps of Christ and to lead others to the truth which makes us free.
