About a year ago I had an experience for which I am very grateful. My sight having left me entirely, and the pain in my eyes being very severe, my husband called in five of the best physicians in Boise, but they could offer me no relief. The last one, considered the best specialist in the city, could only suggest my going to a hospital and having an operation, and even then it was very doubtful if he could save both eyes. I had been confined to my bed for several weeks, in a darkened room, when we called in a Christian Science practitioner. I received almost instant relief, and my healing was both rapid and permanent. On the fifth day the bandage was dispensed with, and on the tenth I used my eyes in looking up references in the Lesson-Sermon. My sight is now normal, and there is no spot left on the eyeball as the physician declared there would be. Our physician, on meeting my husband on the street, seemed very much surprised to hear that I was up and doing so well. He said he thought that the diseased eye was certainly gone. Since this experience I have had many beautiful demonstrations of Truth's power, both with myself and little baby. My husband and I feel very grateful to God for Christian Science.—Mrs. M. C.
