Though I am not a Christian Scientist, I wish to express...

From the September 1911 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Though I am not a Christian Scientist, I wish to express my gratitude for the healing of our little boy, two years old, through Christian Science treatment. In June, 1910, the child contracted whooping-cough, and while suffering from this had a severe attack of acute lung trouble. We tried two physicians, who in a few days pronounced the case hopeless, saying the child could not live, as his temperature was very high. In our extremity we were advised to try Christian Science, and we called in a practitioner, who stayed with us a short time and gave the boy treatment. The following morning the fever had abated, and when the physician called he told us that the child was out of danger. An eruption appeared on the body, but after telling the practitioner of it, this also quickly disappeared.

The recovery of strength was very rapid, and he was soon as well and strong as any boy of his age. When all other means failed, our child was snatched as it were from the brink of the grave, and for this I am deeply grateful. It is my hope that this testimony may be of use to some mother who has a suffering child.
