Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." How much those words mean to a Christian Scientist! When visiting my sister a little over two years ago, I became interested in Christian Science, and while there my little son was healed of measles with the help of a practitioner. Another son, who had been subject to severe headaches all his life, is overcoming them through his understanding of this truth. I have also overcome toothache, weariness, and other ailments.
I live a long distance from a Christian Science church, and as I have four small children and do my own work, it is difficult for me to get to the services. All my work in Science has been done through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and by its teachings I have been able to overcome error in many forms. I am trying to be a true Christian Scientist and hope some day to be a member of the church, as I am thoroughly convinced that Christian Science is indeed the truth as Jesus taught it.
I subscribe for the Sentinel, and when I have read it I send it to others, hoping that it may help them as it has helped me. I only wish I could have had sooner the understanding of the truth which I have now, as I would have been spared much sorrow and worry; but I thank God that it did come to me, and nothing can ever take away the joy and peace that I now enjoy.
