For some time I have been wanting to express publicly my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. I did not take up its study for physical healing, as I then considered myself healthy, although I frequently had very severe headaches, and I did not expect ever to be rid of them, as they were supposed to be hereditary. But the headaches, also colds and many other discordant conditions, have been entirely overcome, for which I am very grateful.
Christian Science appealed to me at once as a practical, every-day religion, which could give the help I needed in my daily life. Through it I have been healed of ill temper, irritability, and a disposition to find fault with others, so that members of my family who are not yet interested in Christian Science tell me I am quite a different person. I greatly appreciate the articles and testimonies in the Sentinel and Journal, and find them very helpful.
Words cannot express my gratitude to God, and also my thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, this wonderful gift to all mankind.—New Orleans, La.
