I am indeed grateful for what Christian Science has done for me. Three years ago I had a bad attack of mumps. My mother told me to treat myself and she would help me. I did so, and the enlargement was nearly gone next morning, and that night I was well. I was examined by the school doctor, who said I was all right. A short time after this I burned my hand, and began to pour water on it; but it hurt me very much more. My mother looked up from her reading and asked me what I was doing. I told her, and she said that she would treat me. Within half an hour my hand was healed; not even a blister could be seen.
Two years ago I had an attack of measles, but I recovered in two days. My mother reported the case to the board of health Saturday, but by Monday I was well. A week later I went down to the health department and they acknowledged that I was perfectly well; but the law required fifteen days to pass before they could sign the card, so I stayed at home till the time was up. I am very grateful to God for Christian Science, and thankful to Mrs. Eddy for finding this truth.— Los Angeles, Cal.
