I feel, that the time has come for me to give expression to my wonderful healing in Christian Science, and readers will know that I have much to be thankful for. For twenty years my eyes were in a very bad condition, although I had many specialists treat them; but they grew worse all the time. Three years ago a growth appeared, and I had the best specialist in Denver perform an operation on both eyelids; but it did no good at all, and it was only a short time afterward that the right eye was all covered over and the left was about half covered. I was blind!
Now it was wonderful how I was led into Christian Science, as I have indeed reason to think. I had only a few treatments, when the growth on the right eye disappeared in the same way it came, and the growth on the left divided in the center and left the eye free. My sight is now better than it has been for twenty years, and every day I declare the truth that as God's child I can have no imperfections.
I have also been healed of severe headaches, from which I had suffered all my life, and other ailments. I might have been a blind invalid today, but instead of that I am a perfectly well woman. I have had illness come upon me only to disappear in a short time, for I have had no fear, and I have never had one thought of turning to material means for help. I can truly say, as one of our hymns expresses it, "Earth has no sorrow that Love cannot cure." I am very thankful to God for Christian Science and the blessings it has given me.— Denver, Col.
