In November, 1910, I was attacked by a sudden illness which confined me to the bed. All indications pointed to an acute case of appendicitis. The pain finally became so severe that I was unable to remain long in one position, and most of the time I did not know what I was doing. It seemed that the pain was more than I could bear. After I had suffered in that manner for quite a while, my son called in a Christian Science practitioner, who arrived at the house about midnight. In an hour and a half I was free from pain, and went to sleep and slept until morning, when practically all signs of the illness were gone. If it had not been for Christian Science, I would in all probability have been rushed off to the operating-table, with uncertain results. I am more grateful than words can express for what this truth has done for me and mine.— Hamilton, Mont.
