With thankfulness for even a slight knowledge of Christian Science, I will tell of benefits received. One Sunday, when returning from church, I was taken with severe pain in the back of the head and neck. I tried to declare the truth, but only grew worse. When I lay down, I could not raise my head without help; but I could go about when I got on my feet, although when I called for help my head was drawn to one side and was getting worse. Treatment was begun at once, and I was relieved. I went to work and studied the Lesson-Sermon for the next Sunday and read as usual. Although the cords did not relax for three days, I was made to feel and know God as all-power, for from the heel of my foot to the crown of my head I was free. In eight days there was no visible sign of the trouble and I am now as straight as ever.
My healing has been permanent, and since then I have been very free from any pain or need of healing. Every day there is that unfoldment which shows the many benefits constantly being bestowed on me, and my wish is that I may reflect God's work so that others may be benefited thereby.
