A few years ago I was taken, according to medical diagnosis, with pleurisy combined with acute lung trouble. The first physician helped me so that I was able to do a little light housework, but I soon began to grow worse. This physician then advised me to go to Colorado, as my condition was very serious. We did not, however, feel able to go just then, so I decided to try another doctor. After having three physicians I was told there was an abscess on the right lung and I would have to be operated on. My sister, a Christian Scientist, was visiting me at the time, and I decided to go home with her for a few weeks. While there I asked for Christian Science treatment, as anything seemed better than the hospital, and in three weeks I returned home, a new woman both physically and mentally.
I thank God daily for what has been done for me, and also for the help Christian Science is in our family.—Coffeyville, Kan.
