It is with a deep feeling of gratitude that I send this testimony, having had innumerable proofs of the efficacy of Christian Science. I was healed of pleurisy in two absent treatments. Severe headaches, skin trouble, a tendency to severe coughs and colds, and a badly ulcerated condition of the throat have all been overcome, while glasses which had been worn for several years are no longer needed. Some time ago I hurt myself in lifting a heavy weight. From a medical point of view the condition would have necessitated surgical treatment and is considered rather serious. The healing did not come quickly, owing to my fear, but during the time I was being treated I was able to continue my work and take long walks each day. At the same time my right hip, which from childhood had grown out, became quite normal. It is in position again and as perfect as the other. I am deeply grateful for this healing, since previously there had been at times considerable pain in the hip. To a large extent a strong sense of limitation has been overcome by realizing the ever operative, ever present availability of good.
I am deeply grateful for the physical healing, but still more for the spiritual regeneration, the learning in some degree to sin no more, that has come into my life through my slight understanding of Christian Science.
