If my testimony to the healing power of Christian Science stimulates increased effort on the part of even one searcher after ever present good, I shall be thankful; and in this spirit I lift up my heart and voice in thanksgiving for the innumerable benefits that have come to me and mine through the application of the truth as revealed to us in Christian Science.
I turned to this teaching for physical healing, and through the faithful work of a loving practitioner I have received abundantly. I can truthfully affirm, however, that while I am deeply grateful for the physical healing, which means much to me, my gratitude is yet more unbounded for the spiritual healing, for the understanding that has dawned upon my consciousness of the way to use this greatest gift of Love for myself and for others. I find the daily study and practice of Christian Science brings its full measure of blessings to me, and by sharing them others are blessed.
In proportion as I have understood that the mental healing must come first, I have ceased to be disturbed by the slow disappearance of physical manifestations. I know that they will drop away into their native nothingness when my consciousness is so full of the majesty of the "King of glory" that there is no room for doubt. My prayer is that I shall be so diligent in my daily search for Truth, eternal goodness, that I shall manifest in thought, word, and deed that state of consciousness which our Leader declares (Science and Health, p. 458) "is Truth's motto," "Semper paratus" (Always prepared).— Santa Barbara, Cal.
