With the psalmist I would exclaim: "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." I want others to know of my benefits, and of the power of God to heal through Christian Science.
Early in the spring of 1912 my health began to fail, and it grew worse, until I was finally confined to the bed. In all five doctors treated me, but their medicine failed to reach my case and relieve my suffering. My trouble was diagnosed as aneurism, and after a consultation of physicians, my family was informed that I would not live more than two or three days. I could not raise my head without assistance, and was terribly reduced in flesh. It was just at this time that we decided to try Christian Science. A practitioner was called, and I began to improve. In a few weeks I was able to walk about the house. I continued to improve, although my complete healing covered a period of several months; but for some time I have been able to do all my housework. It is quite two years ago that I was healed, and I have had the best of health ever since.
The pastor of one of the churches had visited me several times, and after my restoration to health by Christian Science he acknowledged that he had never expected to see me at the church again. I am very thankful to God for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me.— Dayton, Ohio.
