It is with the deepest sense of love to God and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy that this testimony is written in proof of the healing power of God as taught in Christian Science. Many times I have had the opportunity of proving it, and in all the walks of life I have found it a present help.
Three times before taking up the study of Christian Science, I was healed by it after doctors had said they could do nothing more for me. I had sufficient faith in Christian Science to use it as a remedy for physical ailments, but not until after the third healing, ten years ago, was I made to see that I must work out my own salvation. I have been striving to use the truth in daily life ever since, and it has always proved adequate. It has not always worked out in my own time and way, but always for my spiritual good. It is so comforting to know that Christian Science can be taken into every walk of life and is a never-failing friend.
Whereas I used to be sick continually, in the last ten years I have used no remedy except the truth, yet never enjoyed better health, and have had to call for help only a few times.
