Words cannot express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. Over a year ago I had a severe stomach trouble, and could not eat even the plainest food without great suffering. One physician thought the trouble was caused by an ulcerated condition of the stomach; another pronounced it gallstones, and said I could not be healed without an operation. An opiate was the only thing that gave any relief, and because I dreaded to take opiates, I suffered for hours before resorting to them. Finally, seeing that medicine did not help me, my husband consented to my having Christian Science treatment, and through the faithful work of a practitioner I was healed. This is only one of the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. I can never feel grateful enough for this teaching, and for what it has done for me spiritually as well as physically. I do want to know more of this blessed truth.— Amherst, Mass.
