With great thankfulness to God, I beg to testify of my healing through Christian Science of a very serious growth on my face which lasted over a year and a half. It would get a little better, and then become worse. In March, 1917, it increased in size during two days to such an extent, and became so painful, that I applied to a Christian Science practitioner for treatment, with the result that in about a month the condition was overcome. Through God's power this was accomplished, and I have had no return of the trouble. An attack of influenza was overcome in three days.
I am very thankful for these, blessings and for all the good received through Mrs. Eddy's loving work. — Barbados, British West Indies.
I have much pleasure in corroborating all that James J. Law has stated in his testimony. We are most grateful for this proof of the power of Mind to do all things, and for many other such proofs. For ten years we have relied on Truth alone for the supply for every need, mental, moral, and physical, and we can echo the Leader's words found on page ix of the Preface to "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and say that although "rejoicing in some progress" we find ourselves willing disciples "at the heavenly gate, waiting for the Mind of Christ." We rejoice that "progress is the law of God," as Mrs. Eddy tells us on page 233 of our textbook. Our earnest desire is that others may be helped by and share the wonderful healing that we have received in Christian Science.—
