About sixteen years ago I became afflicted with paralysis, with other complications, such as gall trouble, goiter, chronic appendicitis, and bowel disorder. A number of reputable physicians were consulted. They agreed upon an operation, which was in its very nature a critical one, but after it was performed conditions became more complicated than before.
