I should like to express some of the gratitude which feel for all the help I have had in Christian Science since I began the study of it six years ago, not with a view to physical healing, but to find out what it was about and whether it was the truth. In a few months I was healed of several ailments which I had been told were chronic, in some cases with help from a practitioner and in others merely through studying the Bible together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." After about four months I was able to do without glasses, which I had worn for some years when indoors. Since I began to study the textbook I have not used any material remedies, and any ailment which has come to me has been overcome by Christian Science.
For all this I am very grateful, and I am still more so for the practical help in our daily life,—for a religion which we can really live and which meets our every need, enabling us to understand more of what God is,— perfect Life, Truth, and Love,—and which proves to us that the promises in the Bible are true. I am also very grateful for the removal of a great deal of fear of various kinds, for all the Christian Science literature, and for the services which our Leader has so wisely and lovingly provided for; also for the knowledge that no matter how confined and limited our circumstances may seem, nothing can hinder our doing God's will or helping others, because nothing can separate us from God.— Dublin, Ireland.
