I hereby wish to express my deepest gratitude for all that Christian Science has done and is still doing for me. I first heard of Christian Science in 1916, through a friend, when I had dragged myself around for years in great mental distress. Now, through the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have seen a light which enables me to understand the Bible better. I was always downhearted and lived in darkness, but I have learned that when the need is greatest God is nearest. A throat trouble has been healed through the work of a kind practitioner, and I have had many other demonstrations of healing in the family, through Christian Science. Indeed I am grateful that I am learning to know God and hope that soon all mankind may see God's light, "for," as the Scriptures say, "in him we live, and move, and have our being."
For the past nearly five years I have not taken any medicine and have become a new creature. I cannot be grateful enough to God and to Mrs. Eddy for the wonderful revelation of the Christ-healing.— Butte, Mont.
