I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science. It is a daily help to me in every problem and discord that appears and it is meeting every need with its healing message of love. My mother became interested in Christian Science when I was three years old, and I gained a great many valuable lessons in Science from her teachings. I shall always be so grateful that when I was a child my consciousness was filled with thoughts of health and happiness rather than of sickness and discord.
I have a little son one year and a half old. He has never had medicine or material means of any sort used. Colds and bowel trouble have been met in Science. His teeth have given him no trouble whatever. I was particularly thankful for this demonstration as other children of his age seem to suffer a great deal at this period. The remark is made very frequently that he is the picture of health.
Recently I awoke one morning with my jaw very much swollen; a wisdom tooth was trying to push its way through the gum, displacing the teeth in front of it. I applied for help from a practitioner, and although the swelling remained for a week I experienced very little pain. It was thought necessary by a dentist that all my wisdom teeth be extracted because they were making my other teeth crooked. When they were extracted, no injection in the gums was made nor was gas used, and the operation was painless.
