About two years ago, while using some dry washing powder I got some in one of my eyes. The pain was very severe. This happened on Friday evening. I read the Lesson-Sermon and worked on the problem, yet when I went to bed it seemed as if hot coals were in the eye. I worked on until Monday evening, and not seeming to get any relief I wrote to a practitioner. After writing I put the letter to one side and took up the Quarterly to get the lesson, and before I had finished the responsive reading the demonstration was made. For this and many other healings I am indeed grateful, also for the laying off of glasses, which I have worn for fifteen years.
My daily prayer is that I may have a better understanding of this truth that makes us free. I am indeed grateful to God for Christian Science.— Donner, Calif.
