I have long desired to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I became interested through a friend who invited me to a Wednesday evening meeting. I was so impressed by this meeting that from that very evening I have been a regular attendant at both the Sunday services and Wednesday evening meetings.
A severe attack of rheumatism was healed in so short a time that the doctors marveled at it. A short while ago, while doing very close work at the office where I am employed, I had difficulty with my eyes; they were in such condition that sight became very much impaired. When many of my coworkers advised me to go to an oculist, I grasped the situation as a testing time and at once knew that God, divine Love, is always with us and cares for His own. I clung steadfastly to this and to God's love, and my eyes were completely healed within a very short time. To-day they are as well and stronger than ever, for which I am profoundly grateful. I have also had daily proofs that God not only heals us of sin and disease, but will, if we turn to Him, help us in our everyday problems.— Washington, D. C.
