I wish to express my gratitude for the many healings we have had in our home. In 1912 I was seriously ill with what was termed congestion of the lungs, but with the aid of a faithful practitioner and a few friends was soon able to be about my household duties, and in a few months was strong and well. Some years later I was again disabled, with a sore limb, and remembered that God is our refuge and strength, and was brought out with the help of another faithful worker.
We have been helped in many ways, but one other healing I wish to mention is that of my daughter, who was instantaneously healed of a severe pain in the back that rendered her unable to walk. With the help of a practitioner, however, she was able to dress and attend church within an hour after asking for help. For all these blessings we thank God, and our Leader for her kindness in giving the helpful instruction contained in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."—Colorado Springs, Colo.
