I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for a beautiful healing experienced a few years ago of an internal trouble of many years' standing, through the reading of the chapter on Prayer in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I have also been healed of acute indigestion, lumbago, and many other physical discords. But the spiritual awakening has meant more to me than the physical healings. To know that God is Love, and that He is ever present and not a God afar off, that all that the Father has is mine, —all these truths have been a beautiful revelation to me. I have been protected in many ways in the case of accidents, through knowing that God is ever present. I have also proved that God is the source of my supply by securing a position when every one was talking of lack.
I am indeed exceedingly grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for class instruction. I am more thankful than words can express to God and grateful to Christ Jesus the Way-shower, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the many blessings that have come to me and mine and to all mankind through the study of Christian Science.— Indianapolis, Indiana.
