From the October 1921 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.—Jeremiah xxxi:3.

Mind is my home, my safe and sure protection,
And never can there come
Trouble, or loss, or any tribulation,
To hold from me my home.

Not in the mystic dream of earth creation,
Changing, and far from me,
But in my inmost being's contemplation,
God's kingdom here I see.

Higher I rise, and still the view grows clearer,
The door is open wide.
Kindly the love that draws me ever nearer,
My thoughts shall here abide.
