I have we read so many testimonies in the Sentinel and Journal by which I have been benefited that I am ashamed for not sending mine sooner. I found Christian Science several years ago, and I did not find it any too soon for I had one foot about in the grave, but thanks to God and our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I was snatched from it in time. I am also thankful to all the practitioners who so lovingly assisted me in my struggles.
I have experienced a great many physical healings during these years; in fact, they are too numerous to mention. In the first few years I was healed of lumbago, rheumatism, piles, and a tendency to take cold easily, also of bad temper and of the use of bad language. We can never be grateful enough to Mrs. Eddy for unlocking the Bible and teaching us this wonderful truth which makes free. I am also grateful for the Christian Science literature. My one desire is to live in accord with the teachings of our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and by so doing follow the command of Christ Jesus, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."— , Hugo, Oklahoma.
