I give my testimony hoping it will help some other searcher for Truth. Like many others I came into Science for physical healing. In 1915 and the preceding year I was in great bondage. I had been sick almost constantly with a complication of diseases following appendicitis. After trying specialists and every known material remedy, we turned to Christian Science. With the help of a loving practitioner I was completely healed in a week's treatment. The physical healing seemed very wonderful, but the mental peace is what I am so very grateful for; old annoyances just seemed, to slip away.
We have had many other wonderful blessings. Our little girl was cured in a few treatments of a very bad case of diphtheria, and last winter when influenza was prevalent she seemed to be very sick; but the condition was beautifully met through absent treatment, proving the omnipresence of divine Love.
I have found "self" and "fear" hard to overcome, and while the overcoming has been slow, by persistently declaring the truth it has always been the victor.
