It is with deep gratitude that I express my appreciation of what Christian Science has done for me and my family. I was healed of bronchial trouble in one treatment. A distressing condition about the heart as well as other physical affections have yielded to the power of Truth.
There have also been many healings for my children, and the claim of sunstroke was met for my husband in an hour's time. To sense he was very ill, and I called up a practitioner immediately. My little daughter, four years old, asked me if I had called for help. I told her I had done so, and then asked her if she could not help too. She thought she could and, walking over to her father's side, she repeated the words of a prayer that she had learned. We then recited the twenty-third psalm together, and shortly afterwards my husband felt perfectly well. The following winter he became suddenly ill with an attack of pneumonia, but within an hour's time, after calling the practitioner, the disease was met, and the following morning he was able to go to work, all traces of it having disappeared.
Surely, as Mrs. Eddy says, "to those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health, Pref., p. vii). I should also like to express my appreciation for the Christian Science literature, and gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's wonderful inspiration in giving it to us.— Chicago, Illinois.
