Since Christian Science came to my attention some four years ago, it has many times been proved the "pearl of great price." It has brought joy where was unhappiness strength instead of weakness, and has unfolded more of good every day. A year ago last winter Christian Science proved the nothingness of influenza and I was free in a few days. This last winter the same belief presented itself in a severe form, but after handling the claim of aggressive mental suggestion, it vanished in half an hour. It has been proved to me that as one lives close to Principle the ills of the flesh fall away, and man comes into his eternal birthright of good.
I am very grateful for every gift of our Leader, including the Sentinel, Journal, and Monitor, and desire to live rightly, and by so doing to express my deep appreciation for all that Christian Science has done for me and for the whole world.— Berkeley, California.
