The study of Christian Science has enabled me to be a better woman. I have been healed of malignant tumors, also of cuts, burns, and numerous other ailments, through Christian Science. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 390) we read: "Suffer no claim of sin or of sickness to grow upon the thought. Dismiss it with an abiding conviction that it is illegitimate, because you know that God is no more the author of sickness than He is of sin. You have no law of His to support the necessity either of sin or sickness, but you have divine authority for denying that necessity and healing the sick." I am so grateful to God that I am learning that "the Lord he is God," in heaven above and in earth beneath and there is none else, also, "I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." He has brought me out of the house of bondage, for belief in another power is indeed bondage of the worst kind, and for this I offer my gratitude to God for His mercy and goodness, and to Mrs. Eddy for being faithful to God and His commandments, which enabled her to perceive this truth which makes free.—Mrs. G.
