When Christian Science was lovingly explained to me, I eagerly welcomed it as the truth I had been seeking. As a child and growing girl. God seemed very near to me. and all my problems were trusted to Him, but in later years, upon hearing so many conflicting statements regarding the truths of the Bible, I found myself growing away from God as I had once seemed to know Him, but through Christian Science I have been brought back.
It is now five years since I commenced to study Christian Science, and during this time many forms of discord have been overcome; one for which I shall never cease to be grateful is the overcoming of extreme bowlegs in one of our little boys. Also a great sense of fear of sickness for the children has been beautifully replaced with a realization that God is Love and does not send evil to His children, and when anything does try to manifest itself as disease it is readily met and destroyed.
I am very grateful for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. I am grateful for our Lesson-Sermons, Hymnal, and the Christian Science periodicals, all of which prove a daily help in overcoming error with Truth, as we are taught by Mrs. Eddy.— Aurora, New York.
