When I stop to realize what life would be to me without the knowledge of Christian Science. I am most deeply grateful that I have a part in trying to live and demonstrate more of this truth. Christian Science has been a wonderful help to us in our home in countless ways in the healing of sickness, worry, fear, and limitation. I can testify in my own experience to the healing of severe attacks of the grip, influenza, indigestion, and neuralgia; while tonsillitis, which was becoming chronic, has never appeared since taking up the study of Science several years ago. I am so very grateful for the overcoming of lack and of a sense of fear and anxiety for the future. This has been replaced by the conviction that our needs are met daily as we realize more of the relation of God and man, and that God, divine Mind, is the source of supply.
The textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy has illumined the Bible for me: and the Lesson-Sermons from these two books as published in the Quarterly, together with the splendid Christian Science periodicals, furnish an indispensable help for each day. I wish to add also a word of gratitude for the loyal practitioners, who have been a constant inspiration to me to progress in the understanding and application of the truth of Christian Science to human problems.—Portland, Oregon.
