The only definite help I have ever received has been through the proper application of Christian Science. I have applied this healing truth in my everyday life for the past eight years and in every case where the application has been in accord with the teachings of Mrs. Eddy I have received prompt assistance, expressed in various ways.
Once, finding myself alone in the heart of the Sierras, and, according to the testimony of the senses, fast losing consciousness, my ability to prove the omnipresence of Principle seemed severely tested. However, "man's extremity is God's opportunity," and the simple turning to the truth brought me immediate relief in a very perplexing situation. As I travel about a great deal I have had many occasions to prove the allness of God and His ever protecting power. One particular instance was when in the heart of the desert my traveling companion and i were completely surrounded by torrents of rushing streams where a few hours before lay nothing but acres of hot sand. With God as our guide we made our destination safely.
I have been healed of the liquor and tobacco habits.
