For the past seventeen years Christian Science has been my one and only physician, and during that time it has been proved to me, over and over again, that the truth, as revealed in Christian Science, heals all manner of disease quickly and permanently.
A few years ago I seemed obsessed by fear of the prevalent influenza, which finally manifested itself so violently in my own case that it threatened to be fatal. I called a practitioner for treatment and was completely healed through Christian Science, being under treatment about two weeks. Last year I was taken seriously ill with a fever, accompanied by such excruciating pain in the head as to seem almost unbearable. Again I called for Christian Science treatment, and in ten days was thoroughly cured. Through my own knowledge of the teaching of Christian Science, by applying its rule" of healing, I have proved its power over sickness and grief, as well as its ability to heal discordant business conditions.
For all this I am profoundly grateful, and words fail to express my appreciation of the blessings I have received through the demonstration of Christian Science, and my gratitude to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and the author of its textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," a book which is daily proving a priceless treasure to the receptive heart.— Chicago, Ill.
