In the spring of 1917 I became interested in Christian Science. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" was given to my mother to read, and when she had read a little of it she began to tell me about it and I saw at once that Christian Science had the truth for a foundation. I then bought the book for myself. I had just been to an expert oculist who said I would have to wear glasses all the rest of my life as I had an astigmatism; but while I was reading the Christian Science textbook I put the glasses away as I did not need them, and I never have worn them since. I have also been healed of a weak back, chest, and throat, and headaches.
