I should like to express gratitude for a healing I experienced this past summer. Quite suddenly, I was taken with intense pain in the end of the spine, accompanied by headache and severe pain in the back of the neck. As there was much fear, I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. In a very short time the condition was entirely overcome. A few days after this, one knee became very painful, stiff, and swollen. It all seemed very serious, as walking or even standing was almost impossible, while going up and down stairs was accomplished only with great difficulty and suffering. This condition also yielded to the truth, although more slowly, through the loving, patient work of the one who was helping me by trying to awaken me to the realization of the truth of my being, as God's perfect child, now, and always.
I am more grateful than words can tell for Christian Science; grateful to God, to Christ Jesus the Way-shower, and to Mrs. Eddy for her priceless gift to humanity; grateful also for the privilege of class instruction, and, last but not least, to the dear ones who have so many times helped me through the wilderness when the way has seemed very dark.
