In taking advantage of the privilege of writing my testimony for the Christian Science periodicals the only difficulty is to know where to begin and where to stop. Christian Science has done so much for me and for my family that I could never adequately express my gratitude in words. Everything I am, everything I have, everything I look forward to, I can truly and without any reservation say that I owe to the teachings of Christian Science.
Christian Science enabled me to take up a business career after having spent all my previous years in the army; and to do this successfully and without any sense of change. The beautiful part of this experience was that the change became possible only when I was mentally willing to be led by Principle, and had set aside all desire to do what I thought I wanted to do.
Christian Science healed me of an injured knee that had been seriously dislocated three times during the course of ten years. The healing came when I was finally able to recognize that the crooked knee was nothing but the visible manifestation of crooked thinking on my part. When the thinking was straightened the knee became whole; and it has been so for the past five years, as I regularly take part in various forms of strenuous athletics without any trouble.
