Christian Scientists in every portion of the globe are, each day, understanding more of the glorious Principle that is ever present and operative in healing all sin and disease. It was the understanding, in a small measure, of this divine Principle that healed me of tubercular bone disease of seven years' standing. Physicians had long since given me up as hopeless when this grand truth came into my life and taught me the spiritual relationship of God to man. Although my left leg had been amputated and I had been confined to my bed for seven years, in a few weeks after my first treatment in Christian Science I commenced to walk on crutches. In a very short time the wounds on my hip began to heal. Now, thanks to Christian Science, I am entirely freed, and have truly been "born again." At one time, when I had a severe hemorrhage, and it seemed as if I must pass on, it was this God-given power that sustained me, exposing the inconsistency of the physical senses and proving that God is my Life.
I am grateful beyond expression for all the blessings I have received, mentally, spiritually, and physically, through the study of Mary Baker Eddy's works, and for the loving, patient help of a practitioner. I also wish to express my gratitude to our Father-Mother God, and to Christ
