For the past three years I have been attending the meetings of the Christian Science church and reading the works of Mrs. Eddy; and I wish to express my gratitude for the good I have received. I was led to study the writings of Mrs. Eddy through the healings of relatives and friends; and being in need of help, I decided to try Christian Science for myself. Since that time I have experienced numerous healings. I was healed of a rupture of long standing in one treatment, although the physician had told me I should always have to wear a support unless I submitted to an operation, which I dreaded too much to think of doing.
During the influenza epidemic I was healed very quickly. While other members of the family were down in bed, I was up waiting on them. Last winter I was attacked very suddenly with a severe pain in my side. I asked for Christian Science help, and the healing came gradually. Colds, which used to stay with me for weeks and even months, are now quickly overcome. I was also healed of a sprained ankle very quickly, so that I was able to walk about a few hours later. The next day I went to work as usual. Although my foot was badly discolored for several days, I suffered very little inconvenience, and soon forgot all about it.
