I desire to express my sincere gratitude for the many blessings that have come into our home since we turned to Christian Science. It is over five years since this great truth came into my life. I am most happy to say our household relies entirely on its teachings. We have had some wonderful healings. Over a year ago one of our little daughters had a serious attack of appendicitis, and was critically ill. I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for help. She gave her absent treatment, and the child was healed in about twenty-four hours. I know God is a "very present help in trouble," and if it had not been for His great love and the loving practitioner I feel that the child would have passed on. How I thank God every day for Christian Science!
Another time one of our elder daughters had a very bad case of the grippe, and was quite ill. The same practitioner was called to work for her. After several treatments she was healed, and there were no bad after effects from the disease.
