I feel it a duty to tell what Christian Science has done for me in the way of healing. In 1908 I had what the doctors called stomach trouble. After visiting some of the best physicians in this part of the country with no improvement, and after six years of untold misery, I went to one of the leading clinics in the Middle West, where the difficulty was diagnosed as gall bladder trouble. The medicine prescribed did me no good. In 1915, I decided to be operated upon for relief, and engaged one of the best surgeons in this part of the country. He discovered I had ulcers on the neck of the gall bladder. I felt somewhat relieved for a few weeks after leaving the hospital, but the trouble came back; and I was much discouraged and frightened.
It was at this stage that Christian Science was introduced to me for the first time, and I decided to try it. After two weeks' treatment the trouble was overcome, and I have been well ever since. I am grateful to know the truth that will set us free from sickness and sin. For this blessing I am truly grateful to God and to Mary Baker Eddy; also, I am thankful to the loving practitioner for my healing.—Kemmerer, Wyo.
