I gratefully send this testimony of a wonderful healing I experienced shortly after joining the Christian Science Sunday School, at the age of sixteen. At that time I was quite deaf, the result of scarlet fever when a small child,—so the doctors said. I usually was able to tell what a person was saying by lip reading. Doctors had said my case was incurable, one ear drum being completely gone and the other in a very bad condition. I had been attending all the Christian Science lectures I could; and being usually alone, I had always managed to get a seat near the platform. One night I did not go alone, and my friend chose seats in the rear of the church. I said nothing, knowing I would get as much as I could from the lecture; and I was surprised when I heard every word of it. I have had numerous other demonstrations of God's care, for which I am indeed grateful.
